Heritage Newspapers, City of Lincoln Park 1355 Southfield Road Lincoln Park, Michigan 48146 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a public hearing will be held by the City of Lincoln Park’s Zoning Board of Appeals and Sign Board of Appeals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Lincoln Park City Hall, 1355 Southfield Road. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comments on a proposed multiple family dwelling unit to be located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Lafayette Boulevard and Hanover Street (also described as Lots 61 and 62 of the Elmwood Heights Subdivision; #45-006-03-0061-301 and #45-006-03-0062-300) for the following variances. The variances requested are in conjunction with their site plan request to construct a three-unit multiple family dwelling unit on a vacant site. Variances from the following Zoning Ordinance Schedule of Regulations, as required by §1294.32, and Off-Street Parking, as required by §1290.01.d.2, and Parking Space Layout and Design, as required by §1290.08, are being requested. 1. Side Yard Setback (§1294.32). To permit a 10-foot side yard setback where a 12-foot setback is required. 2. Rear Yard Setback (§1294.32). To permit a 7-foot rear yard setback where a 35-foot setback is required. 3. Location of Spaces (§1290.01.d.2) and Parking Space Layout and Design (§1290.08). To permit an off-street parking facility within the right-of-way where off-street parking facilities are required be located on the lot and to permit a parking facility that is not in compliance with the parking space layout and design requirements for maneuvering lane widths (22 ft. required). Anyone interested in reviewing the Zoning Ordinance and application pertinent to the foregoing may examine a copy of the same at Lincoln Park City Hall in the Building Department during regular business hours until the time of said hearing.
