Sauk Valley, SECTION 001116 - ADVERTISEMENT CITY OF ROCK FALLS ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT INTERIOR RENOVATION FURNISH CONSTRUCTION LABOR AND MATERIALS FOR INTERIOR RENOVATION for CITY OF ROCK FALLS ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT ROCK FALLS, ILLINOIS City of Rock Falls Electric Department, Rock Falls, Illinois will receive sealed bids for construction and materials for the Interior Renovation of the Electric Department at 1109 Industrial Park Road Rock Falls Illinois, 61071. Bids will be received at the City Clerk's office until 1:00 p.m. local time, on the 18th day of August 2015, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids shall be addressed to City of Rock Falls, City Clerk's Office, 603 West 10th Street, Rock Falls, IL 61071 and shall be marked "SEALED BID - INTERIOR RENOVATION ROCK FALLS ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT - Submitted by (BIDDER'S NAME)". The Bidder shall include evidence of having satisfactorily furnished and delivered similar installations for at least three (3) similar installations during the past five (5) years. Electronic drawing specifications and bid documents may be obtained by contacting the Architect: McCloud & Associates, LLC, Attn: Albert McCloud, 401 East Second Street Sterling IL. Ph. # 603-400-3770. The bidding documents will be issued electronically for a non-refundable fee of twenty dollars ($20.00). A certified check or bank draft on a responsible solvent bank, or a satisfactory bid bond executed on an acceptable surety company, payable to the City of Rock Falls, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds each for 100% of the awarded contract price. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without the consent of the City of Rock Falls for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled time of receiving bids. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without consent of the City of Rock Falls for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of receiving bids. The City of Rock Falls is an equal opportunity employer.
