The Daily Tribune, NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD ON PROPOSED FY16 COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT PLAN The Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency (OLHSA) will accept public comments as required by the Michigan Department of Human Services CSBG State Plan for FY16. Public comments will be accepted on the OLHSA/CSBG FY16 proposed plan from July 17, 2015 through August 1, 2015. The plan summary is as follows: A total of $1,499,754 is planned to be utilized in the Oakland and Livingston service areas for the purpose of helping low-income, elderly, and residents with disabilities in Oakland and Livingston Counties become more self-sufficient and to improve their quality of life. CSBG funds will enable OLHSA to secure resources that increase and/or improve the condition of housing, nutrition, health, employment, income management, emergency services, education, linkages to other programs, and self-sufficiency throughout both counties. Persons or organizations wanting to comment on or review the proposed plan should contact the OLHSA Chief Operating Officer, 196 Cesar E. Chavez Ave., Pontiac, MI 48343 or by calling (248) 210-3253 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday by August 1, 2015. Alternative formats are available upon request for persons with disabilities. These formats can be provided if notification is given a week in advance. Publish July 17, 2015
