Front Range Classifieds, The Colorado State Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (the Department) will be submitting several waiver amendments and updated waiver specific transition plans to CMS on 8/21/2015 for the Elderly Blind and Disabled Waiver (EBD), Community Mental Health Supports Waiver (CMHS), Brain Injury Waiver (BI), and Children's Home and Community Based Services Waiver (CHCBS). The Department will also be submitting an amendment to the Spinal Cord Injury Waiver (SCI) renewal to CMS on 9/1/2015. The proposed changes include; rate increases, unduplicated client count increases, exceptions for state plan benefits, spousal impoverishment, Fiscal Management System changes, HCB Settings waiver specific transition plan updates, recognition of International Classification of Disease changes, inclusion of reserved capacity, In-Home Support Services (IHSS) changes, home modification interagency agreements, quality assurance updates, removal of OT/PT inclusion in SLP, and appeals language for Consumer Direction Attendant Support Services.
