Hearst Media Services, NOTICE OF HEARING ON CONNECTICUT FORECAST OF ELECTRIC LOADS AND RESOURCES Connecticut Siting Council Docket No. F-2014/2015 The Connecticut Siting Council (Council) will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, September 24, 2015, to review the 2015 Ten-Year Forecast of Connecticut Electric Loads and Resources. The hearing will be held in Hearing Room One, Ten Franklin Square, New Britain, Connecticut, beginning at 1:00 p.m., continuing at 6:30 p.m., and thereafter as necessary. The hearing is being held pursuant to General Statutes § 16-50r. The purpose of the hearing is to provide an opportunity for cross-examination by participants and public comment. The public and participants are alerted that the Council intends to issue a biennial (2014-2015) report on the forecast of electric loads and resources before year-end 2015. This report will take into account the record in the proceeding including, but not limited to, utility forecasts as well as other relevant documents such as the 2014 Integrated Resources Plan for Connecticut and the 2014 ISO-New England Regional System Plan. Any person seeking to be admitted as a participant to the proceeding may file a written petition to be so designated at the office of the Council, 10 Franklin Square, New Britain, Connecticut 06051, on or before September 17, 2015. Participants are requested to submit pre-filed testimony to the Council on or before September 17, 2015. Participants are required to serve the Council with an original and 15 copies, and the Council and all other participants with an electronic copy of any material submitted to this docket, unless service is waived. A list of participants of record is available from the Council. Any person who is not a participant to the proceeding may file a written statement with the Council at the hearing or any time up to 30 days thereafter. Such statements will become part of the record. All testimony at the hearing will be taken under oath, and each witness will be subject to cross-examination by the Council and all participants. The record of this proceeding is available for public inspection at the office of the Council, 10 Franklin Square, New Britain, Connecticut 06051. Requests for information in alternative formats or for sign-language interpreter services must be submitted in writing by September 17, 2015.
