The Daily Tribune, CITY OF FERNDALE REQUEST FOR BID PROPOSALS Program Year 2015-2016 Yard Services The City of Ferndale is requesting sealed bid proposals to provide the following services: • Unit price per job for lawn mowing, yard clean up and snow removal. • HUD approved administration of program. The need for snow removal will be based on a minimum of two inches of snow accumulation and must be removed within 24 hours. The need for lawn maintenance will be based on mowing once every one or two weeks, weather dependant. This project will be funded with CDBG funds and the contractor must comply with all HUD requirements. Women and Minority-Owned businesses are encouraged to bid. A committee will use a point scale to evaluate all proposals. The City of Ferndale reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in bidding should it consider it to be in the best interest of the City. Sealed bids are due in the City Clerk’s office, 300 East Nine Mile Road, Ferndale, MI 48220 at 10 AM on Tuesday, August 18, 2015.
