The Oneida Daily Dispatch, LEGAL NOTICE VILLAGE OF HAMILTON NOTICE TO BIDDERS Pursuant to Section 103 of the General Municipal Law, State of New York, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Hamilton will receive sealed bids until 2:00 PM Monday, August 31st, 2015 for the DPW Vehicle Maintenance Garage - Phase 2 Project. All bids shall be sealed and clearly marked on the outside “DPW Building – Phase 2 Bid “8/31/15”. Bids shall be submitted to the Village Clerk of the Village of Hamilton, at the Village Office, 3 Broad Street, Hamilton, New York 13346, or mailed to the Village of Hamilton, P.O. Box 119 Hamilton, New York 13346, at which time and place such bids shall be opened and read aloud. The Village Board of Trustees reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality, which in its opinion, serves the best interests of the Village of Hamilton. This project includes construction of a 60’ by 120’ pre-engineered building including foundations, concrete floor, framing, windows, doors, siding, and roofing. All questions shall be directed to Randy Weaver, Village DPW, (315)-824-2590. Contract Documents may be obtained only from the office of the Village Clerk, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. upon deposit of the sum of $50.00 per set. Checks shall be payable to the Village of Hamilton. The full amount of this deposit for one set of Contract Documents will be refunded to any Bidder who has duly submitted a bid accompanied by the bid security required by this advertisement and who returns the Contract Documents, complete and in good condition, within thirty days following the Award of the Contract or the rejection of bid. The full amount of deposit for one set of Contract Documents will be refunded to the successful Bidder upon the execution of the Contract Documents. A refund in the amount of $50.00 will be made for the return, within thirty days following the Award of the Contract or the rejection of the bids, of other sets of Contract Documents complete and in good condition. The owner is exempt from the payment of sales and compensating use taxes of the State of New York and of cities and counties on all materials, equipment and supplies sold to the Owner pursuant to this contract. Also exempt from such taxes are purchases by the Contractor and his Subcontractors of materials, equipment and supplies and supplies to be sold to the Owner pursuant to this Contract, including tangible personal property to be incorporated in any structure, building or other real property forming part of the Project.
