The Mercury, The Montgomery County Housing Authority (MCHA) has developed its 2016 Annual Agency Plan for public review. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires all housing authorities to submit an Agency Plan which includes their mission, strategies and goals over a period of five years and to also include an Annual Plan which clarifies mandatory and discretionary policies the Authority will utilize in providing assistance to low income residents of its jurisdiction. This plan includes the Authority’s recapitalization and development strategies as well proposed budgets for modernization and capital improvements. The MCHA’s plan will be available for review from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM beginning August 7, 2015 at the following MCHA’s offices: Bright Hope Community, 467 W. King Street, Pottstown, PA; Robert P. Smith Towers, 501 E. High Street, Pottstown, PA; Sidney Pollock House, 450 E. High Street, Pottstown, PA; North Hills Manor, 300 Linden Avenue, North Hills, PA; Crest Manor, 2231 Hamilton Avenue, Willow Grove, PA; Golden Age Manor, 400 Walnut Street, Royersford, PA; Marshall W. Lee Towers, 1 W. 3rd Avenue, Conshohocken, PA and the MCHA’s main office, 104 W. Main Street, Suite 1, Norristown, PA. A public hearing is scheduled to be held on September 21, 2015 at Marshall W. Lee Towers, 1 W. 3rd Avenue, Conshohocken, PA 19428 at 4:30 PM to provide an opportunity for comments on the plan.
