Hearst Media Services, LEGAL NOTICE CITY OF STAMFORD BOARD OF REPRESENTATIVES Notice is hereby given that the Land Use/Urban Redevelopment Committee of the Board of Representatives of the City of Stamford will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 7:30 p.m., in the Republican Caucus Room, 4th Floor, Government Center, 888 Washington Boulevard, Stamford, to consider the following proposed resolution. Anyone wishing to be heard is invited to attend and speak. APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF STAMFORD AND THE STAMFORD HISTORICAL SOCIETY INCORPORATED RE: THE PURCHASE/SALE OF 713 BEDFORD STREET AND MOVING THE HOYT-BARNUM HOUSE TO 1508 HIGH RIDGE ROAD NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE 29TH BOARD OF REPRESENTATIVES THAT: Pursuant to Section C1-50-3 of the Stamford Charter and Section 9-7.1 of the Stamford Code of Ordinances, the Memorandum Of Agreement Between the City of Stamford ("The City") and the Stamford Historical Society Incorporated ("The Society") for The City's acquisition of the property (land only) commonly known as 713 Bedford Street, Stamford, Connecticut, from The Society for $200,000.00 and the moving of the improvement thereon, commonly known as the Hoyt-Barnum House, to 1508 High Ridge Road, Stamford, Connecticut, in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Memorandum of Agreement, which is hereby incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein, is hereby approved; and This Resolution shall be effective as of the date of approval.
