Southern Vermont Marketplace, PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE AGENCY OF COMMERCE AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT VERMONT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM Implementation Grant Application The Town of Brattleboro is considering making application to the State of Vermont for an Implementation Grant under the Vermont Community Development Program. A public hearing will be held at 6:15pm on September 1, 2015 at the Select Board Meeting Room, 230 Main Street, Brattleboro, VT 05301 to obtain the views of citizens on community development, to furnish information concerning the amount of funds available and the range of community development activities that may be undertaken under this program, the impact to any historic and archaeological resources that may be affected by the proposed project, and to give affected citizens the opportunity to examine the proposed statement of projected use of these funds. The proposal is to apply for $1,000,000 in VCDP Funds which will be used to accomplish the following activities: As part of the proposed industrial park capacity building at Exit 1 Industrial Park, Brattleboro, VT 05301, Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation intends to use these funds in coordination with other grants loans and private equity and capital to purchase, renovate, expand and equip 101 and 347 John Seitz Drive.
