Hearst Media Services, NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF STAMFORD BOARD OF REPRESENTATIVES Notice is hereby given that the Land Use/Urban Redevelopment Committee of the Board of Representatives of the City of Stamford will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 7:30 p.m., in the Republican Caucus Room, 4th Floor, Government Center, 888 Washington Boulevard, Stamford, to consider the following proposed resolution. Anyone wishing to be heard is invited to attend and speak. PROPOSED RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF STAMFORD AND GARDEN HOMES STANLEY COURT LIMITED PARTNERSHIP NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE 29TH BOARD OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE CITY OF STAMFORD THAT: Pursuant to Section C1-50-3 of the Stamford Charter and Section 9-6 of the Stamford Code of Ordinances, the Real Estate Sales agreement ("Agreement") between the City of Stamford ("Seller") and Garden Homes Stanley Court Limited Partnership ("Buyer") for the sale of premises comprised of a discontinued portion of Stanley Court and adjoining lands located in the City of Stamford, CT, for Four Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($450,000.00) , in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Agreement, which is incorporated herein by reference, is hereby approved; and The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute any and all documents he deems necessary or desirable in connection with the purchase and sale generally described herein. This Resolution shall be effective as of the date of approval.
