Times Union, CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ALBANY NOTICE TO ALL TAXPAYERS Public Notice is hereby given according to Section 1324 of the New York State Real Property Tax Law that the assessment rolls and the tax warrant have been received by the undersigned, and all persons named therein are required to pay their City School District of Albany taxes. If you do not receive your tax bill, please contact the School Tax Collector's Office by phone at (518) 475-6035 or write to the City School District of Albany, School Tax Collector's Office, 1 Academy Park, Albany, NY, 12207. Payments may be made by mail to the City School District of Albany, P. O. Box 15133, Albany, NY, 12212-5133, or in-person at Key Bank of New York, 50 State Street, Albany, NY, during normal banking hours on or after the first day of September 2015. For mail-in payments, interest and penalties will be determined by the date of the official United States Postal Service postmark. Metered mail, private carrier or other mail service deliveries will be considered postmarked the date received. Qualified senior citizens and qualified disabled persons who wish to pay their school taxes in installments are required to pay the first installment no later than September 30, 2015. Remaining installments are due by the last day of the month in November, December, January and February. All other taxpayers are required to make payment in full by September 30, 2015. Late payment of non-installment taxes made during the month of October 2015 have a 3% interest charge added. Taxes paid between November 3 and November 16, 2015 have a 4% interest charge added. Payments after November 16, 2015, must be made to the County of Albany, Division of Finance, 112 State Street, Albany, NY, 12207, where a 5% collection fee is imposed and additional interest is added monthly at the rate of 1%.
