Times Union, STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK NOTICE TO BIDDERS The State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry will receive sealed Proposals for Project No. 201007 Titled, Replace/Rehab Air Handling Units, Illick Hall until 2:00 p.m. Local Time on September 23, 2015 in Room 209 of the Physical Plant and Facilities Office at 307 Stadium Place, Syracuse, NY 13210, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 150 calendar days starting ten (10) calendar days after the contract approval date of the New York State Comptroller. Bidders will be able to access the project documents at the campus address noted above and at Plan and Print Systems, 6160 Eastern Ave, East Syracuse, NY 13211 (315) 437-5111 or through the Printer's website: [planandprint.com]. Bidders who register as a planholder through the Printer may download the bidding and contract documents or obtain printed copies of the documents using the following options: 1. For a fee of ten dollars ($10), receive an electronic download of the bidding and contract documents; 2. For a fee of twenty dollars ($20), receive a CD with electronic copies of the bidding and contract documents; 3. For a fee of forty nine dollars ($49), receive a printed copy of the complete set of bid documents. A separate shipping fee of twenty dollars ($20) is required for overnight delivery of printed documents. Section 143 of State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Deposits of $50.00 or less are non-refundable. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.
