Bucks Local News, NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP ZONING HEARING BOARD NOTICE is hereby given that the Newtown Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public meeting on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. in the Newtown Township Municipal Building, 100 Municipal Drive, Newtown, Pennsylvania, to conduct hearings on the following applications: 1. Continued Appeal #995-15 Samuel Worthington, owner, The Promenade, requesting variances from sections 1106(G)(2),(4)(a)&(b)&(5) of the Joint Municipal Zoning Ordinance of 2007 to permit a free-standing, multi-tenant, joint use sign and individual use wall mounted signs; with four wall mounted Bernie Robbins signs where one is permitted, three wall mounted Verizon Signs where one is permitted, the four Bernie Robbins signs being 36.9, 22.2, 16.6 and 6 sq ft where 2 sq ft is permitted, the three Verizon signs being 51.5, 7.4 and 6 sq ft where 2 sq ft is permitted, and a free standing sign with a height of 7.83 feet where 6 feet is permitted. The subject property is 200 & 204 North Sycamore Street, Newtown, in the LI Light Industrial Zoning District, being further known as Tax Map Parcel # 29-10-7. 2. Appeal #996-15 Thomas C. and Diane DeMusis requesting a variance from section 1000(E)(3)(b)(2) of the Joint Municipal Zoning Ordinance of 2007 to permit a 19 feet by 14 feet open wooden deck in the rear of the property resulting in an 11 feet rear yard setback where 15 feet is required. The subject property is 5 Foxglove Court, Newtown, in the R-2 High Density Residential Zoning District, being further known as Tax Map Parcel # 29-19-192. 3. Appeal #997-15 42 Univer Investment LLC, equitable owner, Newtown Venture I Associates, owner, requesting variances from sections 501(A)&(B)(2); 803(C-2)(2); 902(B)(1)(b)(4); 903(B)(1)(2), (B)(4), (B)(13)(e)(3)(j), (B)(13)(e)(4)(d)(i)&(ii); and 905 of the Joint Municipal Zoning Ordinance of 2007 to permit development of a 17.7 acre property into 78 townhouses in a district where townhouses are not permitted and resulting in front yard set back of 103 ft where 150 ft is required, side yard set back of 108 ft where 120 ft is required, rear yard set back of 110 ft where 150 ft, access to Lower Silver Lake Road which is neither an arterial or collector street, storm water management area included in base site area, relief from natural resource restrictions, and a Special Exception under 905(IV)(b)(1) to permit storm water management facilities in the floodplain. The subject property is 42 University Drive, Newtown, in the OR Office Research Zoning District, being further known as Tax Map Parcel # 29-10-43. 4. Appeal #998-15 C. B. Rose LP t/a Corner Bakery Cafe requesting variances from sections 602(B)(1) and 1001(B)(3) of the Joint Municipal Zoning Ordinance of 2007 to permit a 3,928 sq ft parking lot expansion to add 8 additional parking spaces resulting in a 51.5% impervious surface ratio where 50% is the maximum.
