Denver Post, Notice of Public and Rulemaking Hearings and Public Comment Hearings PUBLISH ON: 06/27/2015 The Colorado Air Quality Control Commission will hold the following Public Hearing: HEARING SCHEDULE: DATE: August 20, 2015 TIME: 9:00 AM PLACE: Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment 4300 Cherry Creek Drive South, Sabin Conference Room Denver, CO 80246 Source Specific SO2 Designations The Air Quality Control Commission will hold a public hearing to consider revisions SO2 designations for the Public Service Company of Colorado Pawnee Power Plant and Colorado Springs Utilities Martin Drake Power Plant. In March 2015, a federal consent decree ordered EPA promulgate source specific designations on certain SO2 sources by July 2, 2016. The consent decree allows states to submit to EPA any updated information and recommended designations for these sources by September 18, 2015.
