Denver Post, NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING IN CONNECTION WITH A CHANGE IN USE WITH RESPECT TO A PORITON OF THE COLORADO EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL FACILITIES AUTHORITY REFUNDING REVENUE BONDS (JOHNSON & WALES UNIVERSITY PROJECT) SERIES 2013B PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an authorized representative of the Board of Directors of the Colorado Educational and Cultural Facilities Authority (the "Authority") will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at or about 10:00 a.m., in the offices of the Authority, 1981 Blake Street, Denver, Colorado, on the proposed change in use with respect to a portion of the proceeds of the Authority's outstanding Refunding Revenue Bonds (Johnson & Wales University Project) Series 2013B, originally issued on September 18, 2013 in the principal amount of $81,895,000 (the "Series 2013B Bonds.") Proceeds of the Series 2013B Bonds were used to (a) refinance (i) Rhode Island Health and Educational Building Corporation Higher Education Facility Revenue Refunding Bonds Johnson & Wales University Issue, Series 2003; (ii) City of North Miami, Florida Educational Facilities Revenue Refunding Bonds (Johnson & Wales University Project), Series 2003A; (iii) Colorado Educational and Cultural Facilities Authority Educational Facilities Revenue Bonds (Johnson & Wales University Project), Series 2003A; (iv) Rhode Island Health and Educational Building Corporation Higher Education Facility Revenue Bonds Johnson & Wales University Issue, Series 1999; and (v) Rhode Island Health and Educational Building Corporation Higher Education Facility Revenue Bonds Johnson & Wales University Issue, Series 1996 (collectively, the "Prior Bonds."); and (b) pay certain costs of issuance relating to the Series 2013B Bonds. Proceeds of the Prior Bonds were used to finance and refinance improvements at the Johnson & Wales University's (the "University") campuses in Providence, Rhode Island, located at 8 Abbott Park Place, Providence, Rhode Island 02903, North Miami, Florida, located at 1701 NE 127th Street, North Miami, Florida 33181, and Denver, Colorado located at 7150 Montview Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80220 (the "Prior Projects.") The Prior Projects are owned, operated and managed by the University or its affiliates, successors or assigns. The Series 2013B Bonds are special limited obligations of the Authority, payable solely from payments made on or secured by a pledge and assignment of certain funds held by the University. A portion of the Prior Projects consisting of certain equipment (the "Equipment") located at the Denver, Colorado campus is being donated to The South Dakota Board of Regents for the use and benefit of South Dakota State University (the "Board of Regents,") a constitutional administrative body charged with the control of public institutions of higher learning in the State of South Dakota (the "State"), and a political subdivision of the State. The Board of Regents' address is 306 East Capitol Avenue, Suite 200, Pierre, South Dakota 57501. The Equipment is intended to be used on the campus of South Dakota State University in facilities located at 1601 11th Street, Brookings, South Dakota 57007. All interested persons may appear and be heard on the change in use of a portion of the proceeds of the Series 2013B Bonds.
