Hearst Media Services, ATTENTION FORMER DANBURY PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS WHO RECEIVED SPECIAL EDUCATION SERVICES AND GRADUATED BETWEEN 2007 and 2008 In compliance with federal and state regulations, the Danbury Board of Education plans to destroy any and all special education records of members graduating in 2007 - 2008. These records are no longer needed to provide educational services to these students. Please be advised that a special education student may want to obtain a copy of his/her records prior to destruction as such records may be required to obtain social security or other benefits in the future. If you graduated in 2007 or 2008 and would like to obtain a copy of your special education records, you must request a copy in writing prior to July 31, 2015.
