The Humboldt County Planning Commission at their meeting of January 8, 2015 adopted a resolution recommending that the Board of Supervisors approve formation of the Regli Jerseys Port Kenyan Agricultural Preserve. The project is located in the Ferndale area, approximately .33 miles west from the intersection of Meridian Road and Port Kenyon Road, on the property known as 2238 Port Kenyon Road. The project is an application to establish a Class D agricultural preserve pursuant to the California Land Conservation Act (otherwise known as the Williamson Act) and the Humboldt County Agricultural Preserve Guidelines. The property is approximately 42 acres in size and is utilized for cattle grazing. The Humboldt County Planning Commission at their meeting of January 8, 2015 adopted a resolution recommending that the Board of Supervisors approve formation of the Regli Jerseys Witman Lane Agricultural Preserve. The project is located in the Ferndale area, approximately 0.5 miles north from the intersection of Grizzly Bluff Road and Witman Lane, on the property known as 525 Witman Lane. Any person may appear and present testimony in regard to these matters at the hearing. If you challenge the nature of the proposed actions in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Board of Supervisors, at, or prior to, the public hearing.
