Delco Times, ORDINANCE NOTICE THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF DARBY will conduct a public hearing on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19, 2015 during the Borough Council Meeting commencing at 7:30 P.M. in COUNCIL MEETING ROOM, BOROUGH HALL, 1020 RIDGE AVENUE, DARBY, PA 19023, concerning the following Ordinance, a title and summary of which is as follows: FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT ORDINANCES REQUIRING ALL PERSONS, PARTNERSHIPS, BUSINESSES, AND CORPORATIONS TO OBTAIN A PERMIT FOR ANY CONSTRUCTION OR DEVELOPMENT; PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF SUCH PERMITS; SETTING FORTH CERTAIN MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT WITHIN AREAS OF THE BOROUGH OF DARBY WHICH ARE SUBJECT TO FLOODING; AND ESTABLISHING PENALTIES FOR ANY PERSONS WHO FAIL, OR REFUSE TO COMPLY WITH, THE REQUIREMENTS OR PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE. All who wish may attend and be heard. Borough Council will conduct its public hearing on this Ordinance and may, if no substantial changes are made, adopt the proposed Ordinance during the meeting. A copy of the proposed Ordinance is available for the cost of copying during regular business hours at Borough Hall, 1020 Ridge Avenue, Darby, PA 19023.
