The Macomb Daily, CITY OF OAK PARK, MICHIGAN NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE APPLICATION OF LOOP ON GREENFIELD, LLC FOR AN OBSOLETE PROPERTY REHABILITATION CERTIFICATE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Oak Park City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the hearing may be commenced, at the Oak Park City Hall, 14000 Oak Park Blvd., Oak Park, MI 48237. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive public comment regarding the Application of Loop on Greenfield, LLC for an Obsolete Property Rehabilitation Certificate for the obsolete facility located at Property Identification Nos.: 52-25-19-326-017 and 52-25-19-301-012 commonly known as the Providence Green Apartment Complex (the complete legal description(s) of the real property are available for public inspection at Oak Park City Hall). PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that in the event an Obsolete Property Rehabilitation Certificate is approved by the Oak Park City Council at or following the public hearing, (subject to approval by the State Tax Commission pursuant to MCL 125.2786) the rehabilitated facility (but not the land on which the rehabilitated facility is located, or personal property other than personal property assessed pursuant to sections 8(d) and 14(6) of the general property tax act, 1893 PA 206, MCL 211.8 and 211.14) will be exempt from ad valorem property taxes collected under the general property tax act, 1893 PA 206, MCL 211.1 to 211.157 so long as the Certificate is in force. All owners of real property within the proposed District, all residents, taxpayers, representatives of the affected taxing units and the general public are invited to attend the Public Hearing to have an opportunity to be heard and provide input regarding the Application for an Obsolete Property Rehabilitation Certificate. In advance of the meeting, written comments may be addressed to the City of Oak Park, Attention: City Clerk, 14000 Oak Park Blvd., Oak Park, MI 48237. The City of Oak Park will comply with the spirit and intent of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
