The Oakland Press, ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS HURON VALLEY SCHOOLS HIGHLAND, MI 48357 Huron Valley Schools will be receiving bids for the following bid package: Boiler & Pool Heater Replacement 2015 A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Administration Building, 2390 S. Milford Road, Highland, MI 48357. Bid documents are available online at www.hvs.org/bids or by going to the District’s web site, www.hvs.org and clicking on Quick Links, then selecting Bid Registration & Information. The buildings can be visited by going to the building’s main entrance for Highland Elementary, 300 W. Livingston Road, Highland, MI 48357 or the Pools & Fitness entrance for Lakeland High School, 1630 Bogie Lake Road, White Lake, MI 48383. Sealed bids should be submitted to Sandra Elka, Supervisor of Purchasing, Huron Valley Schools, 2390 S. Milford Rd., Highland, MI 48357. Bids are to be submitted no later than 2:00 PM local time on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. The District will not consider or accept a bid received after the date and time specified for bid submission. Bids will be publicly opened immediately following the close of receiving bids. No oral, email, telephonic or telegraphic proposals shall be considered. In compliance with MCL 380.1267, the bid shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the board, or the superintendent of the school district. The bid shall also be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing whether the bidder is an Iran Linked Business in compliance with PA 517 of 2012. The Board shall not accept a bid that does not include these sworn and notarized disclosure statements. The Board reserves the right to waive any irregularities, reject any or all bids, or accept any bid when in the opinion of the Board such action will best serve the District’s interest.
