Times Union, NOTICE TO BIDDERS: Please take notice the Albany Convention Center Authority (ACCA) and Gilbane Building Company (GBC) will accept lump sum bids for the Albany Capital Center, 55 Eagle Street, Albany, NY 12207 for Bid Package 08, ID# 6283.09A, General Trades. Please note this project is a public bid. Bids are due no later than Tuesday September 15, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Please be advised this bid package is a complete package for this scope of project work. All Bidders MUST bid the complete scope of work. Partial bids will not be accepted or evaluated. Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with bid instructions. The Pre Bid Meeting will be held at: ACCA/GBC Field Office, 126 State Street (access via Howard Street entrance), Albany, NY 12207 on Thursday, August 27, 2015 3:00 PM. The deadline for submitting RFI's is Thursday September 03, 2015 by 12 noon IMPORTANT: You must register online at www.ibidpro.com in order to receive access to the proposal form and additional bidding documents. Note: It is not necessary to complete the entire Pre-qualification form in iBidPro. You only need to provide contact information and Federal Identification number. Once registration is completed you will receive, a temporary password via email. You must then log into the system and create your own password within 48hrs. Once registered and logged into iBidPro you must follow the steps below to access the proposal form and bid documents: 1. On the menu on the left, click on "Public Bids"; 2. Choose your State (New York); 3. Choose Trade Code; 4. Click on "Search"; 5. Under the "Results" section, the project will show-up; 6. To the left, click on the "View Bid"; 7. Under Actions click on "Bid"; 8. Under Actions click on "I Will Bid", or "No Bid"; 9. Once completing these steps you will be able to access the Bid Documents. Under the "Sections" tab, you will have the options to view your Main Information, Attachments, Receipts, and the Proposal Form and submit RFI's. Bidders are advised of the following: 1. ALL technical questions during the bid period, as Requests for Information (RFI's), are to be submitted through the iBidPro system. Supplements will be issued periodically to answer the RFI's. All bidders will see all RFI's and their answers. 2. Questions on contracts/qualifications/procedural items are to be submitted via email to rmurray@gilbaneco.com. No interpretations of the drawings, specifications or other contract documents will be made verbally. 3. The Proposal Form is where the required bid information will be recorded. All fields in the form are to be completed in their entirety. 4. Bids are to EXCLUDE all sales and/or use taxes. 5. The Proposal Form is to be filled out completely and online via Gilbane's online bidding software at www.ibidpro.com. Bidders are required to submit a five percent (5%) BID BOND attached to the Proposal. Bid bond amount shall be computed on the Lump Sum Price exclusive of Alternate values; shall be drawn in favor of Albany Convention Center Authority (ACCA); and shall be issued for a period of not less than ninety (90) days from Bid Due Date stated herein. 7. The Bidder agrees that it shall treat as confidential and not disclose to any third party the financial terms of its Bid or any information concerning the Construction Manager's or Owner's business, whether or not it is awarded the Contract. This confidentiality requirement shall be passed down to all subcontractors and suppliers, potential subcontractors and suppliers, all tiers. 8.
