Hearst Media Services, INVITATION TO BID Viking Construction, Inc. as General Contractor is soliciting interested Connecticut vendors and subcontractors for work at the Crescent Crossings - Phase 1B, Martin Luther King Dr., Waterview Avenue, Church Street and Cutter Drive, Bridgeport, CT. This project consists of 106,858 SF of new residential construction of 4 buildings of 3 to 4 story wood framed building providing 84 apartments and community space. The construction will take place over a 12 month duration commencing on or about Nov 1st, 2015 and the work will include but not be limited to: sitework, utilities, concrete, masonry, structural steel, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, cabinetry, roofing, doors, hardware, windows, drywall, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, tile, carpet, paint, elevators, fire protection, HVAC, plumbing and electrical. The project has goals for Section 3 businesses of up to 10% and has diversity/set-aside goals of up to 25% for SBE/MBE/WBE.
