Hearst Media Services, CITY OF STAMFORD ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS LEGAL NOTICE The Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of Stamford will hold a public hearing and meeting on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at 7 PM in the Cafeteria located on the 4th floor of the Stamford Government Center Building, 888 Washington Boulevard, Stamford at which time and place the following application will be considered: Application #035-19 of Winston Johnson for a variance of Table III, Appendix B (Schedule of Requirements for Area, Height and Bulk of Buildings Requirements) and Article III, Section 6A (Districts and District Regulations Requirements) of the Zoning Regulations in order to separate existing dwellings into two parcels. The proposed revised parcel 1-A, to allow existing pool to remain and be an accessory building in the front yard and would have a rear yard property line setback of 33.4 feet in lieu of the 60.0 feet minimum required. Proposed Parcel 1-C; the exsiting dwelling would be 18.2 feet from the front yard property line in lieu of the 40.0 feet minimum required and 19.5 feet from the side yard property line in lieu of the 25.0 feet required. The garage would be 18.5 feet from the side yard property line in lieu of the 25.00 feet required and have an area of 0.831 acres in lieu of the 1 acre minimum allowed. Said property is located on the east side of Westover Road in an RA-1 zone and is known as 1209 Westover Road. At the above mentioned time and place a public hearing will be held and all interested parties are invited to attend. After the public hearing, there may be a meeting to discuss and possibly decide the application and any other business pending before the Board.
